Werner Thumb,
Austrian born Werner started his musical career by studying the piano for 8 years. However, he was always attracted to drums and spend more than a couple of hours admiring a drumkit in the window of a local music store. Even tough his parents tried to delay it as long as they could (for understandable reasons) he finally succeeded in getting a drum kit. Early band experience included playing in the what has to be considered the worst ballroom band of all times. Werner also enjoyed playing tympanies and classical percussion during church services and in a local orchestra. Which means he can acutally read music, in contrast to his band mates:-). After letting the drums rest for a couple of years, Werner picked up the sticks again to join Hardcopy. He constantly tries to force Vagn and Cyril to down-tune their guitars, and go for some blast beats, but did not succeed so far. So far..... ***** |
